In October WXPN will be asking listeners to vote on the what they think was the Greatest Year In Music — in November we’ll reveal those votes in our annual countdown. To get folks thinking, we asked WXPN host Robert Drake to dedicate his September trip into the Land of the Lost to showcasing four of the best years (for music) in the 1980s.
Throughout the month, he asked Land Of The Lost fans to vote for what they thought was the best year in music during the 1980s and on his monthly radio show Drake revealed the four years that got the most votes.
The years were: 1980, 1982, 1985, 1987
